What is LitoZin®?
LitoZin® is a scientifically proven (based on Random Controlled Studies-RCT's with evidence form other studies) to help some people with the symptoms of Osteoarthritis.
LitoZin® is the trade name for the product that contains the sugary fatty acid GOPO® - the reported active ingredient in this rose-hip supplement. Studies have found Rosehip to be safe (very mild known side effects- allergy, constipation, diarrhoea, and heartburn) and useful and effective in relieving some symptoms of osteoarthritis.
What are Rose-hips?
They are the fruit of the dog rose and are quite commonly found in hedgerows from August until November. Whilst the flower is small, pale pink and some might say fairly unremarkable, the orangey-red, oval berries, sometimes as much as an inch long are easily recognisable and comparatively showy.
What else do rose-hips contain?
They are one of the richest sources of vitamin C, but also A, D and E, iron, calcium, antioxidants and fatty acids. Rose-hip syrup was given to children during World War II for its high vitamin C content. One cup of 30 berries contains as much vitamin C as 40 oranges!
